Designed to Help Puppy Parents

Drop-in visits | Potty Breaks | Feeding | Play Time

We provide intimate care to fit your puppy’s specific needs! We can accommodate pups that need: to stay inside before they are fully vaccinated, someone to come play with and feed them, to have training reinforcement while on leash, or to socialize and join a small pack walk in the neighborhood. Whether it’s help with their schedule, energy, potty training reinforcement, or socialization, we’ve got you and the newest addition to your family covered.

Having your pup on private walks with a Big City Woof Pet Professional, or on small pack walks with either 1 or 2 other dogs, allows your pup to work on the training you’ve implemented in a supervised, safe, and contained environment without putting them in a daycare or off-leash environment, which can be overstimulating for some pups! Our Pet Professionals can help reinforce your pup’s basic training skills and good manners, potty training, and socialization.

BASIC TRAINING & MANNERS

We want to make sure that the training that you and your dog are working on stays consistent! Our Pet Professionals are able to provide training reinforcement specific to your commands and overall expectations of your pup. Our walkers are knowledgeable in positive reinforcement training and clicker training and can cater their walk with your dog to the basic training skills and manners you’ve been working on such as sit & wait, leave it, and drop it.

POTTY TRAINING

Are you struggling to figure out a potty break schedule that best fits the needs of your pup? We can help curate a schedule with you so your puppy is not left alone for long periods of time. We are able to provide relief by letting your dog out of the crate for a quick potty break on the pee pad or on a brief potty break on a walk outside, depending on their vaccinations. Our dog walkers are able to spend time playing inside with your puppy, working on any commands with your puppy that you’ve been focusing on, or feed them any meals they need. Let us know what your needs are for each visit and we are happy to accommodate!

SOCIALIZATION

It’s important for a dog’s overall wellbeing to provide opportunities for socialization with other dogs. Learning how to properly interact and communicate with members of their species while in a calm, positive, and safe environment is critical to your pup’s development. Small pack walks are a great alternative to day care or off leash play which can be an overwhelming and over stimulating experience for some dogs. A small pack walk can provide an opportunity to socialize, learn good habits from other pups, and get energy out in a positive way, without regressing on potty training or allowing play to get out of control. With a Big City Woof Pet Professional your pup will be carefully supervised while getting the chance to greet and walk with their favorite pup pals!

PREVENT SEPARATION ANXIETY

Having your dog walked by someone other than you can help your puppy be more comfortable with people coming into their home by giving them the chance to socialize with a new person, while also providing consistency that your dog can look forward to. This positive and predictable exposure to a person outside of your household helps prevent potential separation anxiety that your puppy could develop if they’re not used to being away from you. Having a Pet Professional walk your pup frequently and consistently allows your dog to gain more confidence and independence during their time away from you.

FLEXIBILITY

As your puppy grows, your schedule will need to adjust to their potty training needs! Our team is able to accommodate 1 hour walk windows for pick up for dogs who are house training or have multiple walks a day. We are able to adjust the schedule as often as needed in order to make sure your pup is taken care of based on their individual scheduling needs, which will change rapidly as they grow! Our Pet Professionals are willing and flexible and our administrative team is standing by to adjust your schedule to be catered to your individual needs.

What People Are Saying

“The Big City Woof Walker team are some of the most personable, reliable, trustworthy individuals I have encountered. Considering I am new to having a puppy and am working sporadic hours both away and from home, I was in great need of assistance in caring for my pup. I spent a good amount of time exploring different options for care, and I can say without a doubt that my dog has received all the love and affection needed to make him feel comfortable, happy and loved from both his sitters (when he couldn't walk outside) and walkers (once he got fully vaccinated). Chris, Sophia and Maddy have worked so well with my little guy. They text me updates on him, take lots of photos and give him all the attention he needs which allows me to focus on work. I highly recommend The Big City Woof Walkers. You'll be fortunate to have them care for you loved one.”

“I have been giving out BCWW's information to puppy owners in the park who are starting to stress out about going back to work and leaving their dogs home alone for extended periods of time! Every sitter I have had has been wonderful and knowledgeable and I trust them completely in my home with my beloved pup. They have been a lifesaver for us, particularly during Covid, whether I'm gone for just a few hours or several days at a time. Highly recommend!”
