Joshua Latour (KPA CTP, SDC) is a pet-care industry veteran with over 15 years of experience. A Certified Training Partner with The Karen Pryor Academy, a certified Service Dog Coach™, and a Puppy Start Right Instructor™, with a certificate of Completion of the Aggression in Dogs Master Course developed by Michael Shikashio CDBC (world-renowned aggression expert). Joshua continues his required education for animal training in order to ascertain the most cutting edge practices based on scientific research. He’s also a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). Joshua specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis, the science-based methodology foundational to clicker training.

Joshua Latour
Celina Lara is a dedicated dog trainer with 13 years of experience in dog walking and sitting. She is currently pursuing certification as a professional dog trainer through the Grisha Stewart Academy, aiming for her CBATI-KA certification by the end of 2024. Celina takes a pragmatic, learner-focused approach, focusing on improving communication between dogs and their humans while establishing a sense of safety and security. She teaches dogs self-regulation and adaptive skills through games and play to improve behavior and create more joy for pet parents and their dogs.

Celina Lara
Claire F. Cario has been working within the animal welfare field since 2001. She received her MA in the Advanced Psychology of Animal Behavior in 2008. Since then Claire has managed and trained animal behavior staff across all sectors of the animal behavior field, developed curriculum for training programs, municipal shelters and therapy dog programs, given lectures and webinars on canine behavior, built behavior assessment systems and developed individualized behavior training plans for dogs displaying mild to severe behavior concerns. In addition to running her own business since 2009, Claire is also a Behavior Consultant for Behavior Vets of NYC, a Behavior Consultant with Black Dog Behavior & Training in Delaware and and an instructor at CATCH Academy. Previously she held positions as the Private Trainer Manager at SFTD, the Behavior and Enrichment Assistant Manager at Animal Care Centers of NYC, a behavior consultant on the ASPCA Anti-Cruelty Behavior Team and as an Executive Trainer for The Good Dog Foundation.
